2. How We Use Face Photos

We collect user-uploaded photos solely for the purpose of generating AI images. These photos may contain face data, but we do not extract biometric identifiers or perform facial recognition. We do NOT perform biometric scanning, do NOT extract facial vectors, landmarks, measurements, or any identifiers. We only process the image as a standard photo file. The face photo is used solely for generating AI-based portrait or avatar images upon explicit user request. No facial recognition, identification, verification, or classification is performed.

3. Data Sharing and Processing

Photos are processed only by our selected AI image generation provider (FAL.ai / Stable Diffusion server). We do NOT share images with advertisers, analytics tools, or any unrelated parties. Photos are stored temporarily on our secure server only for the purpose of generating the AI output and are automatically deleted. Photos are securely transmitted to our image processing provider and deleted within 24 hours. We do not share photos with advertisers or analytics platforms.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and improve our AI portrait generation services
• Process and generate your requested portraits from uploaded photos
• Sync your data across devices securely
• Send you updates and technical notices
• Respond to your questions and provide support
• Analyze usage patterns to improve our AI models (without using photos for training unless you explicitly consent)

5. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Your photos are processed using industry-standard encryption and are stored securely. Photos are stored temporarily and are automatically deleted within 24 hours after portrait generation is complete. Generated portraits are stored temporarily (up to 24 hours) and can be deleted upon request. We do not share your photos or generated content with third parties except for FAL.ai, which processes photos solely for portrait generation purposes as described in the 'Data Sharing and Processing' section.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Face photos and generated images are kept for a maximum of 24 hours, after which they are permanently deleted. Users can request immediate deletion inside the app as well. You can request immediate deletion of your photos and generated content at any time through the app settings or by contacting us at privacy@selfiex.app. Upon deletion request, all photos and associated data are permanently removed immediately.

7. AI Processing

Your photos are processed using advanced AI technology through our service provider FAL.ai. Photos are processed securely and are used exclusively for generating your requested portraits. Photos are NOT used to train AI models without your explicit consent. Generated portraits are created from your uploaded photos and are stored only as long as necessary to deliver the service (up to 24 hours). 8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data and generated portraits
• Request immediate deletion of your photos and generated content at any time
• Export your data
• Opt-out of marketing communications
• Cancel your subscription at any time
• Control privacy settings within the app
• Request information about how your photos are being used
• Withdraw consent for photo processing (note: this will prevent you from using the portrait generation features)

9. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services for AI processing (FAL.ai), analytics, crash reporting, and subscription management (RevenueCat). Photos are shared ONLY with FAL.ai for the sole purpose of generating your requested portraits. FAL.ai is contractually required to: (1) Use photos exclusively for portrait generation, (2) Not use photos for AI model training without your explicit consent, (3) Delete photos immediately after processing (within 24 hours), (4) Maintain strict security and privacy standards. For complete details about photo sharing, please refer to the 'Data Sharing and Processing' section. All third-party services have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information.

10. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information or photos from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information or photos, please contact us immediately at privacy@selfiex.app and we will promptly delete such information.
